Head Start and Early Head Start are CommUnify’s flagship programs, operated by CommUnify since 1967 at 18 campuses throughout Santa Barbara County. From pregnancy through preschool, we provide children and their families the high-quality child care, early education, nutritious meals, and health & wellness screenings they need to thrive. We offer center-based and home-based options in order to ensure your child becomes kindergarten-ready.
Our teachers are bilingual and culturally responsive. They work closely with each family not only to meet the child’s needs but to support working and stay-at-home parents alike in their own education and career objectives. Head Start and Early Head Start build strong children and strong families. Head Start is good for Santa Barbara County.
